Cancel. Recreate. Explain.

The new booking has no history. Notes must be copied, and attendees receive a cancellation followed by a new invitation.

Proposed

Change the time. That’s it.

Keep the appointment and its context. Show the time change in its history and send one updated invitation.

Before we build

Two decisions still need a call.

Who can change the time?

Only the organiser, or any attendee? Starting with the organiser makes ownership clear but leaves others asking by message.

How late is too late?

Allow changes right up to the start, or require a day’s notice? A cutoff prevents surprises but may force the cancellation workaround.
